# Apple Shortcuts

[Apple Shortcuts](https://support.apple.com/guide/shortcuts/welcome/ios) is a built-in automation app for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. With this integration you can save and organize bookmarks by voice with Siri, from the home screen, or as part of a multi-step workflow.

## Setting up

    Install the Raindrop.io [mobile app](/mobile-app) if you haven't already
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Open the **Shortcuts** app
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Tap **+** to create a new shortcut
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Search for **Raindrop.io** in the actions list
  </Step>

## Available actions

| Action               | What it does                            |
| -------------------- | --------------------------------------- |
| **Save bookmark**    | Save a URL to a specific collection     |
| **Search bookmarks** | Find bookmarks by keyword               |
| **Get bookmark**     | Retrieve details of a specific bookmark |

## Example shortcuts

* **Save clipboard link** — save whatever URL is in your clipboard to a chosen collection
* **Save current Safari page** — one-tap shortcut from the home screen or widget
* **Daily reading list** — automatically collect links from a specific source into a collection
