Account Basics
Change Email Addressβ
- Visit Account Settings
- Enter email into "Email" field
- Save changes
Change Usernameβ
- Visit Account Settings
- Enter username into "Username" field
- Save changes
Change Passwordβ
- Visit Account Settings
- Click "Change password" button
- Enter your current password and new one
- Confirm change by clicking "Change password" button
Add Additional Login Optionsβ
You can connect your Apple, Google, Facebook or Twitter account to be able to login to Raindrop.io in one click.
- Visit Account Settings
- Turn on or turn off services in "Sign in with" section
Reset Accountβ
If you want to start from scratch and remove all data:
- Visit Account Settings
- Click "Remove all my bookmarks and collections"
- Confirm removal
This action will remove all your bookmarks and collections!
Bookmarks can be restored later from Trash.
Transfer Account Dataβ
If you want to transfer all data from one account to another:
- Get backup file from first account
- Login to first account and visit Backup settings
- Create a new backup, and wait for an email notification
- Download first

- Restore backup to second account
- Login to your second account and visit Import page
- Upload file you generated previously and click
Start import
- Wait a minute
- All your collections, bookmarks, tags, highlights, notes now transfered to a second account
- In next few hours our server download thumbnails and additional meta data for uploaded bookmarks
Remove Accountβ
Weβre sorry to hear that youβre considering deleting your Raindrop.io account.
Please note that deleting your account will remove all the data in your Raindrop.io including bookmarks, collections, files, filters, tags, etc. If you remove your account, you will not be able to restore it or any data associated with the account.
- Visit Account Settings
- Click "Remove account"
- Confirm remove
For Premium users: If you've signed up for Pro, please make sure to cancel your Raindrop.io subscription first.
