Subscribing

You can subscribe on the web, through the App Store, or through Google Play. The feature set is the same regardless of where you purchase.

Choose monthly or yearly and complete the checkout
Payment is processed by Paddle. Credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and regional methods (iDEAL, Alipay, etc.) are accepted depending on your location. Raindrop.io does not handle your payment information directly.

Managing your subscription

You can switch between monthly and yearly at any time.
Email info@raindrop.io with your desired billing cycle (monthly or yearly). Do not cancel the current subscription manually — the team will update it for you.

Click Change subscription → Manage → Update payment method

Add a new payment method and click Use This to set it as default
To cancel, stop the subscription from auto-renewing. You keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period.

Log in at app.raindrop.io

If you cancel within 30 days of purchase or renewal, you can request a full refund.
Email info@raindrop.io with your payment receipt or order reference ID. Refunds arrive in 3–10 business days.

What happens after downgrading

All your bookmarks, collections, tags, and highlights stay in your account — nothing is deleted. Pro-only features become unavailable:
  • Automatic backups stop
  • New file uploads are limited to 100 MB/month
  • Web archive copies become inaccessible (permanently deleted after about a month)
  • Full-text search stops working

Yes. Raindrop.io is completely free with unlimited bookmarks, collections, and devices. The free plan has no time limit.
Yes. Collaboration works on the free plan.
The yearly plan is ~20% cheaper than paying monthly.
No. You keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period, then return to the free plan automatically.
You’ll receive email notifications after each failed attempt. Payments are retried up to 4 times within a week. If all retries fail, your account is downgraded to the free plan.
